Mrs. Pophamcontact information: |
My name is Shelby Popham - formerly Ms. Wilhelm. I am the 6-12 School Counselor, Testing Coordinator and SADD Advisor at Hamlin School District.
In May of 2015 I graduated from SDSU with an M.S. in Counseling and Human Resource Development with a specialization in School Counseling. I also have a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Rehabilitation Services from SDSU. I am originally from New Ulm, located in southwestern Minnesota about 3 hours from Hamlin. Outside of school I spend most of my time with my three boys and husband. We love to be outdoors, go swimming and camping, and I enjoy taking pictures, cooking, painting and crafting, and listening to music. I provide individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom lessons to aid in all of our students being the best they can be at school and in their future. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns. |
Student support is very important, especially now more than ever. We want to make sure students have someone to reach out to even outside of school hours. Through the Helpline Center's Text4HOPE texting program, students can connect with a trained professional and share concerns privately with a trusted individual. Text4HOPE is available 24/7/365
